The #1 platter is white ironstone in the wheat pattern (in relief) from the 3rd quarter of the 19th century - marked "Royal Ironstone China England". Dimensions - 15" long, 10 1/2" wide. Price - $28.

#2 is a deep sided platter from Grindley's Cream Petal line. It probably dates from the 1950s. Dimensions are 14" long by 11 3/4" wide. Price - $15.

#3 is another early white ironstone with a gold pattern around the edge and a maple leaf in the middle. marked "Royal Semi Porcelain, Wood & Son" on the back. Dimensions - 16" long, 12" wide. Price - $28.

#4 has a beautiful rose pattern border. Marked "Myott Royal Crown", probably from the 1930s or 40s. Dimensions are 16 1/4" long by 12 1/2" wide. Price is $15.

#5 is a colourful transfer printed platter by J&G Meakin and is marked "Sol Reg'd 381413" (1901). Dimensions are 18 1/4" long, 13 1/2" wide. Price $30.

#6 platter was produced by Ridgway around 1880. It has an overall hand painted design called "Persia" in bright orange and cobalt blue. It measures 20" long x 16" wide. It has a few small chips but otherwise very little indication it was ever used. Price $60.
