When I got this tray several years ago it was in pretty rough shape. The wood had not been properly seasoned and it had considerable water damage to boot. It is made of random bits of Olive wood, mostly end grain, embedded in black epoxy plastic. I recall seeing trays like this in shops in 1970s (I think) and I liked their modern vibe, so I decided to fix this one up. A lot of sanding and many coats of polyurethane and it’s in better than original condition – it’s now completely waterproof so no more water damage..
In the main picture. it looks like the handles are not opposite each other. This is an artifact of my camera lens and they are in fact placed opposite.
It is 12″ in diameter and 14.5″ across the handles. It is 7/8″ thick.

Re shipping. When you check out you will be quoted a price for the shipping based on your address and the estimated physical size and weight of the package.
All items destined to any country outside of Canada (including USA) will have tariffs applied (percentage of the item’s value depending on the country of origin) and brokerage fees (approx $2).
Items destined to the USA require a label or mark stating the country of origin – in many cases vintage items aren’t marked and I may have to physically attach such a label myself.
