This is one of a number of piano music books which belonged to my wife’s uncle and aunt who were originally from Germany. The volumes all appear to be from the late 1800s to early 1900s. This volume is Der Zigennerbaron (Gypsy Baron) by Johann Strauss. It was published by August Cranz liikely in the late 1890s after the company moved to Leipsig. The typography on the title page also suggests the 1890s but it appears that it was bound at a later date because the boards are in very good condition while the title page has had a fair bit of handling. The music pages (96 of them) are in very good condition.
It is 8¼” x 11″. The first picture shows an old label on the spine which has been removed cleanly.

Re shipping. When you check out you will be quoted a price for the shipping based on your address and the estimated physical size and weight of the package.
All items destined to any country outside of Canada (including USA) will have tariffs applied (percentage of the item’s value depending on the country of origin) and brokerage fees (approx $2).
Items destined to the USA require a label or mark stating the country of origin – in many cases vintage items aren’t marked and I may have to physically attach such a label myself.
