In the late 1800s there was a landrush on the Canadian prairies. Every crossroads dreamt of becoming the new Chicago and people bought souvenir spoons as a remembrance of those heady days. This was before the area was divided into the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan – It was still part of the Northwest Territories and would be until 1905. These 2 spoons are regular dining service spoons and there is nothing on the handles, but the bowls have “Regina NWT’ and “Prince Albert NWT” acid etched in their respective bowls. Regina of course became the capital of Saskatchewan and Prince Albert became a major city, also in Saskatchewan. The Regina spoon is bigger (5″, weighs 12g) than the Prince Albert one (4″, weighs 8.4g). Both are marked “Sterling” Apart from the tarnish they are in excellent condition.

Re shipping. When you check out you will be quoted a price for the shipping based on your address and the estimated physical size and weight of the package.
All items destined to any country outside of Canada (including USA) will have tariffs applied (percentage of the item’s value depending on the country of origin) and brokerage fees (approx $2).
Items destined to the USA require a label or mark stating the country of origin – in many cases vintage items aren’t marked and I may have to physically attach such a label myself.

All items are packed carefully and securely. I use recycled materials wherever possible. Most shipments are insured.
I will combine shipping on multiple purchases whenever appropriate in order to save you money. I will refund the saving when the items are shipped.
