This pottery vase/candle holder has an impressed mark for “Saltspring Pottery” om the bottom and also a hand inscribed signature. There are many current and former potters on Saltspring Island (E side of Vancouver Island) but I have been unable to decipher the signature. This is a very attractive piece with bands of various shades of blue.
It is just over 5″ high with a base of a bit under 4″ diameter. There is a bit of wax residue around the top but otherwise it is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or other imperfections.

Re: shipping. I am now using an alternative carrier for most of my shipments and most are now tracked, insured and faster. However, this carrier does not have a shipping calculator that integrates with Etsy so shipping calculations are still from Canada Post. Timeframes will generally be faster and the rates will usually be less than quoted. As a result I am making partial refunds on about half of my shipments – on bulky items to the USA, refunds can be in the double digits. If you want an accurate quote in advance please email me with your full address, postal code & country.
All items are packed carefully and securely. I use recycled materials wherever possible.
I will combine shipping on multiple purchases whenever appropriate in order to save you money.
