This well marked piece of studio art pottery was made by “Clay House” in “Calgary, Alta” (Canada). I have been informed that this is by Neil Liske and has his chop mark which if you look closely actually spells out his last name. Also impressed along the same edge is “CREA, 83”. The only thing that I can find with the initials CREA is the Canadian Real Estate Association. They may have held a convention in Calgary in 1983 and this pot may have been an award for something or maybe just a piece of swag.
Calgary was a hot bed of creative pottery in the early 80’s and this pot is a good example.
It is 4.5″ high and 3.75″ in diameter at the top rim. It has couple of small superficial chips on the inner rim which are inconspicuous unless you go looking for them. Otherwise excellent condition.

Re shipping. When you check out you will be quoted a price for the shipping based on your address and the estimated physical size and weight of the package.
All items destined to any country outside of Canada (including USA) will have tariffs applied (percentage of the item’s value depending on the country of origin) and brokerage fees (approx $2).
Items destined to the USA require a label or mark stating the country of origin – in many cases vintage items aren’t marked and I may have to physically attach such a label myself.
I use Chit Chats, a Canadian shipping company that shops around for the best rates from both public and private sources worldwide.
All items are packed carefully and securely. I use recycled materials wherever possible. Most shipments are insured.
I will combine shipping on multiple purchases whenever appropriate in order to save you money. I will refund the saving when the items are shipped.
