I’ve been collecting old lamps for more than 50 years and this is one of the first that I acquired. The only marks on it are a stamped single headed Prussian eagle. For many years I knew very little about it. However eventually I found some identical lamps online which were stamped “Otto Muller, Berlin” in cyrillic (Russian) script. See pictures including the one with the Google translation superimposed (the lamp shown is not brass and is showing rust). These lamps were made for the Russian market in the late 1800s.
Over the 50 years I’ve owned this I’ve never polished it and it has acquired a typical dull brown patina. If you prefer shiny gold coloured brass, it will easily polish up
It is 11.5″ high and the font is 5.5″ in diameter. It is a centre draft lamp with a hollow wick.

Re shipping. When you check out you will be quoted a price for the shipping based on your address and the estimated physical size and weight of the package.
All items destined to any country outside of Canada (including USA) will have tariffs applied (percentage of the item’s value depending on the country of origin) and brokerage fees (approx $2).
Items destined to the USA require a label or mark stating the country of origin – in many cases vintage items aren’t marked and I may have to physically attach such a label myself.
I use Chit Chats, a Canadian shipping company that shops around for the best rates from both public and private sources worldwide.
All items are packed carefully and securely. I use recycled materials wherever possible. Most shipments are insured.
I will combine shipping on multiple purchases whenever appropriate in order to save you money. I will refund the saving when the items are shipped.
