Framed Watercolour Painting – Log Barn, Thatch Roof, Stone Bridge, Early 1900s

$54.95

Here is a lovely old watercolour in excellent condition. The use of gold mats was common in the early 1900s so I’m dating it to that period. Also the the phone number of the framer “Sey 832″ implies an early date. The picture is of a log barn on the side of a river with a stone arch bridge over it. One of the figures on the bottom left appears to be wearing a pilgrim style hat. There is no signature that I can see.

The frame appears to be wood with an ‘old’ gold embossed finish and is 14″ wide by 9.5″ high. The picture is 9.25 x 5.25”. All in excellent condition. See pictures.

Re shipping. When you check out you will be quoted a price for the shipping based on your address and the estimated physical size and weight of the package.

All items destined to any country outside of Canada (including USA) will have tariffs applied (percentage of the item’s value depending on the country of origin) and brokerage fees (approx $2).

Items destined to the USA require a label or mark stating the country of origin – in many cases vintage items aren’t marked and I may have to physically attach such a label myself.
